Designing robust and scalable architectures on GCP to support the organization's applications and services.
Implementing Infrastructure as Code practices using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Google Cloud Deployment Manager.
Leveraging serverless technologies to build scalable and cost-effective solutions.
Demonstrating expertise in Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) and Kubernetes.
Designing and implementing secure and efficient cloud networking solutions.
Continuously monitoring and optimizing the performance of cloud systems.
Implementing security best practices and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards in cloud environments.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams including developers, operations, and security teams, to ensure alignment on architecture decisions and implementation strategies.

Requirements

At least 10 years’ experience in the cloud, most of it in GCP.
Familiarity with Azure and AWS.
Experience in GitOps/DevOps leveraging GitHub, Github Runners, Backstage/Roadie, Cloud Deploy.
Expertise in K8S is a must, and proficiency in VMs, Cloud Run, and Serverless technologies.
Deep understanding of data and database familiarity with Big Query, Snowflake, MongoDB, and Cloud SQL (MariaDB, MSSQL).
Leadership level of experience with IaC with Terraform Cloud, Ansible.
Deep understanding of VPCs, LBs, cloud firewalls and general cloud networking.
Provide technical leadership and work direction to junior staff.
Impeccable documentation hygiene.
