About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the financial operations of Devsu, acting as a strategic partner to leadership.
Own financial visibility, planning, and decision support across the company.
Ensure financial accuracy and help shape the financial direction of the business.
Own the monthly close process across entities.
Oversee preparation of Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss (P&L), and Cash flow statements.
Ensure compliance with Ecuadorian accounting, tax, and labor regulations, and U.S. GAAP.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
Build and maintain financial models to support growth decisions.
Provide insights on profitability by client/service line, cost structure, margin optimization, cash flow, and capital allocation.
Support leadership in strategic initiatives such as pricing, expansion, and efficiency.
Identify risks and opportunities proactively.
Design and implement cost control and financial discipline frameworks.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
3+ years of experience in finance/accounting roles, with increasing responsibility.
Strong knowledge of:
- Ecuadorian accounting and tax regulations (required).
- U.S. GAAP (working knowledge required).
Experience managing multi-entity or international financial operations.
Proven experience in financial planning, modeling, and analysis (FP&A).
Strong business acumen—ability to connect numbers to decisions.
Advanced Excel / financial modeling skills.
Fluent in Spanish and English.
