About the role
- Lead cross-functional teams through ambiguity, aligning stakeholders to a shared vision through your design work
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations to define implementable solutions that meet user, business, and regulatory needs with a keen attention to detail in a hyper-compliant healthcare environment
- Independently identify design opportunities that will drive business results and member satisfaction - with an eye for AI-first and conversation-forward interactions
- Design with human behavior and psychology in mind, making simple things feel simple and complex things feel possible, with an emphasis on solid multi-device interaction design and usability testing
- Create design deliverables using Figma, LucidChart, Adobe Suite and other tools—including sitemaps, workflows, wireframes, and prototypes
- Know when existing design patterns achieve quick wins, and when new, reusable patterns are needed. Design for the long-haul, creating patterns that can be used again and again
Requirements
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and convince leaders to adopt new directions
- History of successful collaboration with designers, product managers, business stakeholders, engineers, and QA
- 7+ years of digital product design experience - Expert proficiency in at least one area of product design (UI, IA, research, etc.) with solid capabilities across all areas
- Strong online portfolio demonstrating sophisticated, multi-platform projects and a versatile skillset
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to tailor messaging to different audiences.
