About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Organization and coordination of service, maintenance, repair and troubleshooting assignments
  • Execution of remote fault clearing and handling of complex technical faults in second-level support
  • Planning and coordination of personnel, materials, external companies and subcontractors
  • Carrying out and supporting repair work on electrical, hydraulic, mechanical and control systems
  • Close cooperation with technical support, the internal office/back office and other project stakeholders
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations, customer requirements and economical use of resources
  • Representing the company to customers and project partners

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed technical or electrical vocational training, e.g., as an electronics technician, electrician or mechatronics technician; ideally with further qualification as a master craftsman (Meister) or certified technician
  • Several years of professional experience in the wind energy industry, preferably in service, maintenance or troubleshooting of Siemens wind turbines
  • Good knowledge of control and regulation technology, hydraulics, power electronics and mechanics
  • Structured, independent working style as well as organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Team player with strong communication skills and assertiveness
  • Willingness to travel, flexibility and fitness for working at heights (G41)
  • Driver’s license class B/BE
  • Good command of English and, ideally, switching authorization up to 36 kV
