About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work independently to perform all mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and retrofit activities.
Serve as the work scope or team leader for their respective work team.
Develop and maintain excellent customer relationships.
Lead mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic component installation, troubleshooting and repair.
Monitor and inspect work to ensure compliance with technical specifications and quality standards.
Mentor and guide junior technicians, providing on-the-job training, technical support, and performance feedback.

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma or GED.
5+ years’ experience as a Wind Turbine Technician.
Valid driver’s license (NON-CDL or CDL).
Ability to read and interpret documents.
Excellent problem-solving abilities.
Confidence to stop the job when things don’t seem right or may be unsafe.
Must be able to pass a physical exam and drug/alcohol screening.
Capable of lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.
Must be physically fit enough to freely climb 300 ft multiple times a day while wearing 25+ lbs. of climbing gear.
