About the role

  • Support the IT Security team in monitoring security-relevant events and alerts
  • Assist with the initial assessment of security incidents and their documentation
  • Identify and report anomalies, unusual activity, and potential security risks
  • Collaborate on the analysis and improvement of existing security measures
  • Maintain and enhance security use cases, playbooks, and internal documentation
  • Support reporting, analyses, and selected compliance and audit topics
  • Gain insights into modern SOC processes, monitoring tools, and IT security structures

Requirements

  • You are an enrolled student in Computer Science, IT Security, Business Informatics, or a comparable degree program.
  • You are interested in cyber security, threat monitoring, and IT infrastructure.
  • Basic knowledge of network technologies or Windows systems is a plus but not required.
  • Analytical thinking and a structured approach help you work independently and efficiently.
  • You have good German and English language skills.
  • Do you like pizza? Great — so does our IT team, quite often.
