About the role

  • Development and implementation of the global sales strategy for offshore wind service offerings
  • Development of new products in the offshore service sector
  • Overall responsibility for revenue, order intake and margins in all relevant target markets
  • Leadership, development and management of the international sales organization
  • Establishment and maintenance of strategic customer relationships with operators, OEMs, EPCs and partners worldwide
  • Management of complex tenders, contract negotiations and framework agreements
  • Close collaboration with Operations, Engineering, Project Management and Finance to ensure competitive proposals
  • Market and competitor analyses as well as identification of new business areas and service products
  • Representation of the company at international trade shows, conferences and industry events

Requirements

  • Degree in engineering or business (Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration)
  • Experience in international sales – ideally in offshore wind energy or renewables
  • Several years of professional experience with a wind turbine manufacturer
  • Proven track record in building and scaling global structures
  • Several years of leadership experience in service
  • Strong negotiation skills as well as strategic and entrepreneurial thinking
  • High intercultural competence and willingness to travel internationally
  • Fluent German and English; additional languages are an advantage
  • Driving licence class B
