About the role

  • Responsible for the architecture of our microservices — from design to implementation
  • Create guidelines and solution patterns for cloud-based applications
  • Ensure efficient and resilient platform operations
  • Conduct reviews regarding architecture and design standards
  • Advise our various teams and platform operations stakeholders
  • Promote knowledge transfer within and across teams
  • Occasional business travel to other locations

Requirements

  • Degree or vocational training with a focus on computer science or a comparable qualification
  • Extensive experience in developing and architecting complex enterprise applications and microservices
  • Strong understanding of architectural patterns (Event-Driven Architecture, Domain-Driven Design, etc.)
  • Familiar with agile project work and methodologies
  • Excellent knowledge of Java and development of Spring Boot applications using Kafka
  • Experience with REST / SOAP, MQ, Oracle / PostgreSQL, Angular, TypeScript, container technologies and cloud technologies (especially Kubernetes)
  • Test automation (Gauge) and GitOps
  • Very good German language skills (C1) and English
