About the role
- You will independently and timely prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements under HGB (German Commercial Code) for multiple accounting entities.
- You review, code and post all ongoing business transactions in accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets and financial accounting.
- You reconcile profit and loss and balance sheet accounts and clarify balance sheet-related issues.
- You prepare the monthly VAT return.
- You participate in projects to further optimize and digitize our finance-related processes and support their ongoing development.
Requirements
- You have completed a commercial vocational qualification with further training/certification as a Bilanzbuchhalter / Financial Accountant.
- You have several years of professional experience in comparable positions and solid, reliable knowledge of HGB.
- You are highly proficient with MS Office, particularly Excel.
- You are characterized by a structured, service-oriented working style and are known for your analytical thinking and strong affinity for numbers.
- You are able to work independently, conscientiously and responsibly.
- You are innovation-driven and dynamic.
- You have very good German language skills, both written and spoken.
