About the role
- Continuous development and enhancement of the IPLS-ROT application
- Implementation of changes across multiple small but diverse functional areas
- Backend development within an existing system architecture
- Solution design at component and feature level
- Technical consulting and advisory support for business stakeholders
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams in an agile environment
- Contribution to documentation and overall system understanding
Requirements
- Strong software engineering experience in complex enterprise systems
- Hands-on development experience with: Java, Perl, PHP, SQL, Apache Tomcat
- Experience working in agile development environments
- Solid understanding of OSS/BSS-integrated system landscapes
- Ability to analyze, design, and implement solutions within existing architectures
- German language proficiency (required)
- Nice to have: experience in telecom or network-related systems (OSS, provisioning, workflows)
- Familiarity with project management methodologies
- Experience interfacing with business stakeholders or a consulting mindset
- Familiarity with systems featuring a high number of interfaces, workflow-driven processes, and inventory/resource management
