About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Set up and maintain the Tableau Platform
- Support overall BI road maps and contribute to strategic service improvements
- Formulate the BI Platform with internal teams and understand business users’ analytical requirements
- Independently design solutions
- Perform validation and integration with internal and external data sources and applications
- Provide ongoing support for existing BI dashboards and reports
- Ensure compliance with process-related, functional, and technical specifications
- Fulfill quality-related requirements, including documentation
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Qlik Sense and Tableau
- Connect and integrate Qlik with Hadoop, Oracle, SQL Server, APIs, and external cloud platforms
- Optimize BI applications for performance and scalability
- Gather and translate stakeholder requirements into analytical solutions
- Implement security and access control within Qlik and Tableau environments
- Troubleshoot and support production issues
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years of relevant BI experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Qlik Sense and Tableau
- Proficiency in scripting and designing complex dashboards
- Experience with Big Data Hadoop and relational databases such as Oracle and SQL Server
- Knowledge of data modelling, data governance, data security, and performance optimization
- QMC experience creating tasks, triggers, scheduling, and publishing apps
- Experience setting up multi-node Tableau and Qlik Site installations and configurations
- Experience monitoring production jobs and taking necessary action on issues
- Experience with Qlik NPrinting for scheduled and on-demand reporting templates
- Experience with Qlik-to-Tableau migration projects
- Hands-on experience designing and operating highly available Qlik and Tableau BI production platforms
- Advanced SQL and performance tuning
- Experience with modern data platforms and data interaction frameworks, such as Snowflake; Streamlit is a plus
- Familiarity with Qlik extensions, mashups, and API integrations
- Experience with cloud platforms and deploying dashboards in cloud environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exposure to Cognos BI, SAP BO, Power BI, or other BI tools
- Knowledge of Python and R is an advantage
- Knowledge of Git and DevOps processes
- BI tool certification in Qlik or Tableau is preferred
- GCP certification is preferred
- Experience deploying analytics solutions on-premises or in cloud environments is preferred
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and MLOps processes is preferred
