About the role

  • Product Owner for Asset Servicing in the European region
  • Close collaboration with the Asset Services Product Manager to implement strategy
  • Manage the QBR process, ensure JIRA hygiene, prioritize JIRA items and align with Technology and Operations
  • Challenge and manage the ROI (Return on Investment) for non-mandatory requirements to ensure efficient sprint planning
  • Ensure adherence to agile methodology
  • First point of contact for the product in the European region
  • Lead the Book of Work for the European region and support other regions as needed
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders (Operations, Technology, Business) to ensure needs are met and priorities are understood
  • Contribute to the strategic vision through market and competitor monitoring; knowledge of vendor solutions, regulatory changes and market initiatives
  • Produce relevant MIS reports based on agile methodology and/or Product Manager direction
  • Responsible for the successful delivery of the transformation Book of Work

Requirements

  • Essential knowledge of Asset Servicing with specific experience in European markets, particularly Germany
  • Previous experience as a Product Owner
  • Knowledge of and experience working with agile methodology
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience, e.g., in Securities Services (Custody/Fund Services) or Asset Services Operations
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to complete tasks independently and successfully
  • Solution-oriented working style with the ability to break down complex tasks into meaningful work packages
  • Strong 'can-do' attitude
  • Industry experience or a relevant degree from a recognized university
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken; German desirable
