About the role

  • Work as part of the CLM & KYC Data & Analytics team, focusing on the development and automation of data analyses and processes in a regulatory environment (KYC, sanctions)
  • Perform and optimize cash-in/cash-out analyses and develop and provide data outputs (data feeds) for business units
  • Document and continuously improve technical processes and ensure external evidentiary requirements in process and control documentation
  • Analyze complex issues in a regulatory context and actively contribute to cross-functional projects
  • Design, implement and coordinate solution designs for data-driven analyses, including migration and integration of modern cloud technologies (e.g., GCP)
  • Independently produce analyses, reports and data feeds using SAS, SQL, Python/PySpark and modern cloud and BI tools
  • Support the handling of official findings for the 1st Line of Defense

Requirements

  • University degree (preferably in a natural science, mathematics, computer science, or data science) or equivalent qualification (e.g., PhD)
  • Several years of experience analyzing and processing very large datasets in the financial or regulatory environment (e.g., AFC, compliance, KYC, sanctions)
  • Strong skills in SAS, SQL, Python/PySpark, and experience with cloud platforms (especially GCP)
  • Good knowledge of common BI tools (particularly Tableau and Looker)
  • Experience in technology transfer/migration projects and in automating data processes
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills, with a high ability to find solutions for complex problems
  • Excellent communication skills (negotiation-level, at least C1) in German and English; confident use of MS Office products
  • Team player, self-motivated, resilient, and enjoys working in a dynamic, regulation-driven environment
  • Experience conducting training and knowledge transfer is an advantage
