About the role
- Support month-end closing activities and contribute to the preparation of monthly financial reports
- Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements under IFRS and Lux GAAP
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors by preparing requested analyses and documentation and providing updates on day-to-day activities
- Ensure the completeness and accuracy of the general ledger chart of accounts including proper reconciliation with various sub-ledgers
- Perform key controls within the due date and document them in Jira
- Maintain and update accounting policies, procedures, and internal documentation
- Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives
- Report to the Head of Financial Accounting
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Accounting, or a related field
- A first relevant experience, ideally in audit or banking
- Knowledge of IFRS, Lux GAAP, and bank accounting fundamentals
- Strong skills in Excel; experience with SAP is an advantage
- Excellent command of English; French and/or German are strong assets
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work with deadlines
- Proactive attitude, willingness to learn, flexibility, and strong team spirit
