About the role
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications
- Gather and analyse business requirements through interviews, workshops, and other methods
- Create and maintain user stories, acceptance criteria, and other Agile artifacts to clearly define and prioritize requirements
- Create process flows and other visualizations to help stakeholders understand and visualize business processes and requirements
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize features and user stories
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other team members to ensure that requirements are understood and properly implemented
- Participate in agile development meetings, including sprint planning and review meetings
- Support the development team by answering questions and providing guidance on business requirements
- Ensure that the product meets the needs of the business and aligns with the overall business strategy
- Share similar mentality as existing team members toward customer satisfaction and success
- Oversee, and have accountability for the successful completion of all aspects of assigned project work
- Provide high-quality analytical solutions for the key stakeholders
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, computer science, or engineering
- At least 2-5 years of experience in a similar environment as a business analyst or in a related role
- Detail-oriented individual with the ability to quickly assimilate and apply new concepts, business models, and technologies
- Understanding of technical business area related to the projects taken
- Expert in conceptual modelling; visualize possible solutions innovatively
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and multi-tasking ability
- Familiarity with requirement techniques such as informal modelling, use cases, user stories. These are the primary techniques used by Agile teams for requirements gathering
- Demonstrate the ability to effectively prepare and maintain Process Flow Analysis, Product Architecture and Design Best Practices, Data Models, and Detailed Functional Design
- Ability to critically question to help the team foresee future problems
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills and ability to take a leadership role when necessary
- Possesses excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
