About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Overall responsibility for the association's financial structure, including planning, management and control of all financial resources
Establishing and further developing a robust financial architecture to support sustainable growth
Responsibility for budget planning, liquidity management and the use of funds within the framework of the organization's non-profit/charitable status
Developing and implementing strategies to recruit supporting members and financial backers
Active involvement in fundraising through direct outreach, structuring proposals and supporting the finalization of commitments
Building and maintaining relationships with donors, partners and institutional funders
Ensuring transparent financial processes and proper accounting in accordance with tax requirements
Close collaboration with the executive leadership to manage overall financial control and to prioritize initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience in financial management, controlling or comparable commercial/financial roles
Understanding of financial structures in non-profit organizations or a strong willingness to become familiar with them
Ability to connect financial strategies with operational implementation
Experience or demonstrable strength in fundraising, partnership development or business development
Structured, self-directed working style and a high level of reliability
Confident handling of numbers, planning models and financial/economic contexts
