About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build a clear, scalable, and trustworthy people structure for the entire association
- Overall responsibility for recruiting, selection, onboarding, and retention of volunteers
- Develop a consistent role and competency model across all areas
- Design a motivating, structured onboarding process that integrates new team members quickly
- Establish transparent processes for collaboration, internal communication, and feedback
- Proactively recruit and attract new volunteers in close coordination with leadership
- Promote a respectful, inclusive, and impact-oriented organizational culture
- Support teams with conflict resolution, role clarification, and collaboration
- Develop measures for long-term motivation, professional development, and team stability
- Build a network of partners, key influencers, and communities for talent acquisition
- Work closely with the board and executive team on strategic workforce planning
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in HR management, recruiting, organizational development, or comparable people functions
- Understanding of the specifics of volunteer-driven structures or willingness to learn quickly
- Ability to connect strategic people topics with operational implementation
- High social competence, empathy, and strong communication skills
- Structured, self-directed, and proactive working style
- Enjoy recruiting, mentoring, and empowering people to increase their impact
- Experience building teams or supporting organizations during growth phases is a plus
