Backend Engineer

• Architect, design, and lead the development of AI/ML solutions, with a primary focus on intelligent chatbot systems using Google Cloud AI products
• Build advanced chatbots that act as intelligent agents, capable of retrieving and delivering information from company-approved data sources

• Detroit Labs is looking for an experienced Senior AMS Analyst to join an exciting project with an existing automotive client that drives game-changing automotive technology. This role will work on connected vehicle services for customers owning vehicles with connected capabilities across the USA and Canada. These systems consist of several backend, frontend, and middleware applications. The systems integrate with the connectivity units inside the vehicle, and enable features like the ability to remotely start the vehicle, view parking locations, Alexa voice commands, and many more. As a full time member of our Staff by Detroit Labs team, we prioritize your individual career growth by providing optional check-in support, and optional team engagement events.
• Investigate, debug, and resolve application issues at the code level, primarily using Java, ensuring escalated tickets are fully resolved
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze, troubleshoot, and implement fixes or enhancements to existing applications
• Own the lifecycle of escalated incidents from intake to resolution, including tracing, debugging, implementing fixes, and validating outcomes
• Perform system administration tasks such as certificate management, product version tracking, and upgrade support
• Monitor system health, analyze logs, report on performance, and address issues promptly to maintain application stability
• Develop and maintain accurate technical and user documentation related to AMS processes and fixes
• Communicate effectively with the user community regarding outages or incidents that impact their experience

AMS Analyst

Sales Development Rep

• Act as an integral part of the Business Development Team focused on fueling the sales pipeline
• Identify and attract potential customers interested in Detroit Labs’ services through research and outreach
• Prospecting and conducting cold and warm outreach across phone, email, and social channels
• Participate in sales activities to build top-of-funnel pipeline and strong relationships with potential clients and existing partners
• Sell new business opportunities for digital strategy, custom design, custom software, staffing, and hosting offerings
• Set meetings with new prospects and BDMs/Account executives
• Work with business development manager and peers to define target markets and optimize prospecting methods
• Partner with business development, marketing, and leadership to develop and implement outreach strategies

As our Sales Development Representative (SDR) for Staffing, you are responsible for identifying and generating new business through outside staffing sales activities such as prospecting, cold calling, networking, and relationship building. The Staffing SDR is accountable for focusing on and generating business through new staff augmentation contracts with companies of all sizes and industries.
• In this role, you will be responsible for developing and cultivating new staffing business opportunities while supporting Detroit Labs to build strong, long-term relationships with its clients.
