About the role
- Advising on and negotiating contracts
- Managing contract negotiations with support from reputable law firms
- Ensuring contract performance – including by engaged subcontractors
- Supporting contentious disputes
- Assisting with regulatory and public procurement matters
- Preparing legal opinions and decision papers for management
- Further developing our contract management
- Participating in the establishment, implementation and development of our compliance and data protection management
- Raising employee awareness through trainings on legal compliance topics
Requirements
- Fully qualified lawyer (First and Second State Examinations) or equivalent qualification
- 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in a commercial law firm or as in-house counsel, ideally with a focus on commercial/contract law
- Solid knowledge in a B2B context
- Initial exposure to the energy industry and/or energy policy topics is an advantage
- Experience in public procurement law (Vergaberecht), compliance and project management is desirable
- Structured, process-oriented and independent working style, with strong communication and teamwork skills
- Confident user of MS Office
- Good English skills (at least B2)
