About the role

  • As Manager, Communication & Stakeholder Management (m/f/d), you will join our Communications team
  • Act as a primary contact for national and international press and develop appropriate storytelling
  • Create and publish content
  • Contribute to the further development of DET's communication strategy
  • Respond to press enquiries about our terminal locations and the marketing of our capacities
  • Manage stakeholder communications at regional, national and international levels
  • Be present on-site in Brunsbüttel, Stade or Wilhelmshaven and at the company office in Düsseldorf as required
  • Develop concepts and produce and publish content for DET communications
  • Handle location, event and crisis communications
  • Build and expand DET's media presence and manage communications with relevant partners and stakeholders

Requirements

  • University degree or substantial professional experience in communications, journalism, (online) marketing, economics or a comparable field
  • Extensive prior experience in communications, ideally within the energy sector
  • Proven expertise in creating and publishing content
  • Clear and concise writing style
  • Strong storytelling skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Well‑connected with a strong professional network
  • Excellent written and spoken English and German
