About the role
- Serve as the technical point of contact for customers, understanding their mission requirements and aligning them with our UAV capabilities.
- Support the sales process from lead generation through contract award, including presentations, demonstrations, and proposal preparation (RFI-RFQ-Contract and release to production)
- Collaborate with sales, engineering, R&D, and product management to tailor solutions and address technical queries.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for sales (technical proposals, technical presentation, performance, production orders, etc.)
- Support pre-sales activities (filling tech part of the RFI, RFQ, contracts, other submission)
- Full technical support of tenders / bids’ submissions
- Technical evaluation and cooperation with partners - consortium submissions, sub-suppliers
- Participation in negotiations as technical support / subject matter expert
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Electrical, Radio Engineering, Mechanical), or related field.
- 3 - 5 years of experience in sales engineering or technical business development, ideally in the defence, aerospace, or UAV sectors.
- Strong understanding of UAV subsystems (avionics, datalinks, payloads, ground control stations).
- Familiarity with defense procurement cycles and customer requirements (e.g. MoD, DoD, NATO).
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Proficiency in English (Advanced (C1 or higher) – excellent written and spoken communication skills are essential.
- Additional languages (e.g. French, Dutch, German, Arabic, Hindi) are a plus
- It will be a plus if you have
- Knowledge of MIL-STD protocols, NATO STANAGs, and SWaP-C optimization.
- Experience with ISR payloads, radar systems, communication systems or electronic integration.
