Lead and develop a team of 4-5 high-performing Product Designers, providing the support they need to grow and perform at their best.
Collaborate closely with product and engineering leaders to align on priorities, advocate for customer impact, and influence product strategy.
Develop and operationalise scalable design practices, processes, and tooling that enable consistency, quality, rapid iteration, experimentation, and learning.
Oversee the end-to-end design process, from concept to implementation, ensuring seamless and delightful user experience.
Apply your B2B expertise to craft solutions tailored to the needs of diverse enterprise-level user personas.
Participate in - and when needed, lead - discovery activities with customers to uncover real user pain points and challenges.
Evolve deskbird’s design system to scale with the product, ensuring consistency and broad adoption while supporting creative flexibility.
Step in hands-on to support squads when needed, delivering high-quality, impactful design work.
Requirements
8+ years of Product Design experience, with at least 3 years leading and scaling high-performing design teams in mid-market or enterprise B2B SaaS environments.
Strong people leadership skills, with a track record of mentoring designers, fostering growth, and building an empowering, feedback-driven team culture.
Track record of successfully aligning stakeholders and leadership from various departments like Sales, CS and Marketing.
Proven ability to drive operational excellence, with deep expertise in building, evolving, and scaling design systems.
Comfortable switching between strategic leadership and hands-on design work when needed and setting the bar for quality.
Ability to work with both qualitative and quantitative data to inform your decisions and lead alignment around how to proceed.
Strong sense of urgency and drive to optimise learning velocity.
Fluency in English (German or French is a plus).
