About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, configure, administer, maintain and upgrade computer networks, management systems and database servers
  • Plan, design, modify, implement, update and develop data structures for important projects and initiatives in medium- to large-scale database environments
  • Install, configure and support database management systems
  • Ensure databases are secure, accurate, consistent, maintained and used optimally
  • Plan and prioritize work to meet objectives
  • Help create and maintain small- to mid-size data environments
  • Help analyze data structures to operationalize environments
  • Install, configure and support data structures for target environments and applications, ensuring their security and integrity
  • Help practitioners manage, use and access databases
  • Develop and update system and database documentation
  • Advise and support the IT development team with new database development and change work
  • Automate data structure activities
  • Serve as a resource person to the IT development team for database modifications and new development
  • Coordinate frequently with stakeholders in other fields
  • Help solve complex problems using analytical skills and extensive knowledge of the line of business

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience
  • Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Knowledge of French is required
