About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist with analysis, research and development to recommend risk management and supervision strategies and priorities
- Lead and influence development projects and complex, highly innovative strategic initiatives involving multiple sectors
- Help develop and recommend strategic directions and business positions
- Plan and execute operationally and conceptually complex projects and initiatives
- Advise clients and partners on positioning, planning, development, execution and monitoring of strategic projects and initiatives
- Develop and update policies, standards, models and programs
- Identify, analyze, diagnose and address major issues and make recommendations to decision-making bodies
- Represent the unit before senior management committees and decision-making bodies
- Represent and negotiate on behalf of Desjardins and enter the organization into agreements with external partners and organizations
- Serve as expert advisor, subject matter expert, resource person and coach for senior management and decision-making bodies
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- A minimum of eight years of relevant experience
- Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
- Knowledge of French is required
