About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Identify, analyze, eradicate and mitigate threats to Desjardins's systems, networks and applications
Simulate threats based on the continuous evolution of offensive techniques and threat actors
Design, develop and implement offensive methodologies and tools while mitigating associated risks
Follow rigorous processes and develop new ones to prepare the organization to face cyberattacks
Lead practitioners on development projects and complex, strategic initiatives
Clarify risks using simple language and involve stakeholders to strengthen Desjardins's security posture
Lead large-scale development projects, initiatives and activities with organization-wide impact
Advise clients and partners on positioning, planning, development, solution selection, execution and monitoring of strategic projects and initiatives
Develop and update policies, standards, models, methodologies, tools and programs
Conduct strategic monitoring to identify emerging security issues
Identify and analyze major issues, diagnose them and make recommendations to decision-making bodies
Analyze, map and explain threats to guide test activities
Represent the unit before decision-making bodies
Represent Desjardins in agreements with external partners and organizations
Serve as a specialist advisor, subject matter expert, resource person and coach for decision-making bodies

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in a related field
A minimum of six years of relevant experience
Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
Strong written and oral communication skills in French
Expertise in offensive and defensive security
Ability to identify, analyze, eradicate and mitigate cyber threats
Knowledge of offensive techniques and threat actors
Ability to design, develop and implement offensive methodologies and tools
Ability to develop security policies, standards, models, methodologies, tools and programs
Ability to analyze, map and explain threats
Strong coordination and interpersonal skills
Strategic monitoring, issue diagnosis and recommendation skills
