About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Mine, evaluate, feature engineer, inspect and adjust available data, and select predictors for optimal use in predictive modeling
Analyze client and partner needs, anticipate the potential impacts of built models and their operationalization, and help roll the models out
Use statistical, machine learning and artificial intelligence methods to use data, and develop and maintain models and segmentations that meet business needs
Create the programming needed to prepare and mine data, and develop, evaluate, support, roll out and manage complex models
Prepare easy-to-understand presentations and data visualizations supporting business decisions and present to committees
Specify the needs and constraints for ensuring built model performance and keep documentation on data and calculation rules up to date
Identify opportunities to improve rules and systems, and recommend enhancements for data management tools
Provide data and guidance for business decisions, advanced analytics and artificial intelligence mandates
Serve as a data use resource person for stakeholders and present analysis results

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in a related field
A minimum of four years of relevant experience
Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
Knowledge of French is required
Intermediate knowledge of English is required due to the nature of the duties, work tools, or interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
Extensive knowledge of data science and the relevant line of business
Analytical skills to solve complex business problems using data warehouses
Knowledge of statistical, machine learning and artificial intelligence methods
