About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Mine, evaluate, feature engineer, inspect and adjust available data, and select predictors for optimal use in predictive modeling
  • Analyze client and partner needs, anticipate the potential impacts of built models and their operationalization, and help roll the models out
  • Use statistical, machine learning and artificial intelligence methods to use data, and develop and maintain models and segmentations that meet business needs
  • Create the programming needed to prepare and mine data, and develop, evaluate, support, roll out and manage complex models
  • Prepare easy-to-understand presentations and data visualizations supporting business decisions and present to committees
  • Specify the needs and constraints for ensuring built model performance and keep documentation on data and calculation rules up to date
  • Identify opportunities to improve rules and systems, and recommend enhancements for data management tools
  • Provide data and guidance for business decisions, advanced analytics and artificial intelligence mandates
  • Serve as a data use resource person for stakeholders and present analysis results

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of four years of relevant experience
  • Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Knowledge of French is required
  • Intermediate knowledge of English is required due to the nature of the duties, work tools, or interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
  • Extensive knowledge of data science and the relevant line of business
  • Analytical skills to solve complex business problems using data warehouses
  • Knowledge of statistical, machine learning and artificial intelligence methods
