About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support team management
- Coordinate the unit’s activities, action plans and initiatives
- Coach and guide a team composed primarily of highly experienced professionals
- Assign tasks and activities and regularly monitor progress
- Support talent development and employee engagement by creating a positive, motivating work environment
- Make recommendations on complex operational and conceptual projects and initiatives
- Interact with stakeholders across a wide range of fields
- Develop business positions and lead and influence senior management and decision-making bodies
- Identify, develop and recommend strategic directions and business positions
- Help determine the unit’s service offer and ensure projects and activities are planned and executed
- Meet targets on time and on budget and manage results, performance, quality and client/partner satisfaction
- Develop training and skills development strategies and action plans
- Help resolve complaints and problems in accordance with organizational practices
- Play a non-decision-making role in hiring, performance management, discipline, and skills development
- Manage the budget
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- A minimum of eight years of relevant experience
- Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
- Certification in security or risk management
- Knowledge of French is required
- Extensive knowledge of the relevant field
- Ability to coordinate activities, action plans and initiatives
- Ability to manage individual performance and team development
- Ability to analyze complex operational and conceptual projects
- Ability to develop business positions and influence senior management and decision-making bodies
