About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve members and clients, assess their needs, promote insurance products and help members and clients choose coverage
  • Prepare quotes and issue insurance contracts
  • Follow up on files, analyze renewals requiring special underwriting, and correct contracts as needed
  • Respond to information requests and amend contracts to ensure client satisfaction and retention
  • Develop business partnerships to generate referrals
  • Prospect for, solicit, and develop and maintain business relationships with members and clients
  • Sell general insurance products and services through multiple distribution channels
  • Promote and sell property and casualty coverage to individual clients
  • Analyze member/client needs and develop custom solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • College diploma in a related field
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience
  • Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Knowledge of French is required
  • Ability to learn quickly and use technology effectively
  • Analytical skills and discipline-specific knowledge
  • Persuasive skills to help clients choose the right coverage
  • Tech savvy
