Key responsibilities & impact

Develop complex execution strategies, analyze, design and document business products and solutions
Analyze and develop software products, including design, coding, automation and testing
Apply development, data and security best practices
Write procedures, guidelines and development methods
Help develop documentation for training peers and users
Cocreate with business partners and architects to standardize solutions
Identify system optimization opportunities while considering potential impacts
Analyze, diagnose, follow up on and resolve highly complex operational and conceptual problems during major incidents
Lead software package installations and testing
Lead inhouse application deployment
Analyze client and partner requirements and recommend appropriate IT solutions
Plan, prioritize and coordinate work to meet schedules and objectives
Lead and serve as a systems specialist for the team, clients and stakeholders
Interact frequently with stakeholders across different fields

Requirements

What you’ll need

University certificate in a related field
Minimum of eight years of relevant experience
Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
Knowledge of French is required
Advanced proficiency in English is required due to the nature of the duties, work tools or interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
Technology, software development, data and security best practices
Ability to analyze, design, configure, develop, maintain and upgrade software products
Ability to analyze client and partner requirements and recommend IT solutions
Ability to plan, prioritize and coordinate work
Ability to solve highly complex problems through comprehensive analysis
Guidewire knowledge or experience implied by the role
