About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead Desjardins’ senior transversal business development mandate across Ontario, Atlantic and Western Canada
  • Define, assess and advance high-value transversal growth opportunities that support organic growth
  • Develop and manage a senior transversal opportunity pipeline with internal partners and the Pan-Canadian business development committee
  • Lead strategic, consultative discussions with prospective and existing commercial clients, partners, associations and organizations
  • Maintain lasting senior relationships with major clients, partners and market influencers
  • Build strong executive and cross-functional partnerships
  • Represent Desjardins at industry events, conferences, networking opportunities, public relations activities and partner engagements
  • Lead or contribute to major client and partner engagements, strategic RFP submissions, proposals, event strategy and executive-level materials
  • Monitor industry trends, emerging opportunities, competitive developments and market shifts
