About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead Desjardins’ senior transversal business development mandate across Ontario, Atlantic and Western Canada
- Define, assess and advance high-value transversal growth opportunities that support organic growth
- Develop and manage a senior transversal opportunity pipeline with internal partners and the Pan-Canadian business development committee
- Lead strategic, consultative discussions with prospective and existing commercial clients, partners, associations and organizations
- Maintain lasting senior relationships with major clients, partners and market influencers
- Build strong executive and cross-functional partnerships
- Represent Desjardins at industry events, conferences, networking opportunities, public relations activities and partner engagements
- Lead or contribute to major client and partner engagements, strategic RFP submissions, proposals, event strategy and executive-level materials
- Monitor industry trends, emerging opportunities, competitive developments and market shifts
Requirements
