About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Contribute to contractual agreements with partners for goods and services acquisition or leasing
Procure products required for operations by planning and coordinating with suppliers
May be responsible for sub-specialties, such as strategic procurement, asset management, etc.
Lead development projects and complex strategic initiatives
Analyze needs and develop strategies/action plans
Represent Desjardins before decision-making bodies regarding major agreements with suppliers

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in a related field
A minimum of six years of relevant strategic procurement experience
Experience in IT
Knowledge of French is required
Advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
