About the role
- Contribute to host team’s diverse and exciting projects and work with professionals in wealth management sectors
- Analyst in a development program to train high-level professionals with integrated vision of organization’s key sectors
- Identify and analyze issues, do diagnostics and make recommendations to decision-making bodies
- Help identify unit’s operational risks and opportunities for improvement
- Help develop and monitor cross-sector initiatives
- After two years, pursue a career within Desjardins’s sectors
Requirements
- Be an undergraduate or graduate student in finance, quantitative finance, portfolio management, financial analysis or any other relevant field related to investments
- Be in the process of obtaining an undergraduate or graduate degree (a minimum of 30 out of 45 credits is required)
- Problem-solving and human relations skills, ability to build interpersonal relationships and quickly adapt to changing work environments
- Be able to work independently, demonstrate curiosity and possess excellent analytical skills
- Prioritize building relationships proactively and demonstrate flexibility
