About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Advise members and clients on optimal financial strategies and work with them to define expected outcomes.
Manage business relationships, assess member/client satisfaction and service quality, follow up and identify areas for improvement.
Stay up to date on the financial services industry, market trends and best practices in your field.
Participate in outreach activities and represent the credit union in the community.

Requirements

What you’ll need

College diploma in a related field
Minimum of two years of relevant experience
Mutual Fund Representative certificate – Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF)
Proficiency in French is required
Awareness of current financial, economic, political and legislative developments
Knowledge of products and services offered to credit union members
Experience integrating financial data into computer systems
Knowledge of debt management
Knowledge of regulatory requirements governing the distribution of financial products and services
Understanding of the philosophy and fundamentals of financial services cooperatives
Familiarity with policies, legislation and standards related to products and services offered by the credit union
Knowledge of operational procedures related to investment and financing activities
Knowledge of service standards
Familiarity with techniques used to assess and monitor individual financing applications
