Key responsibilities & impact

Advise data producers and users to ensure data can be exploited to its full potential with an eye to sound data governance, for the benefit of members and clients.
Conduct complex data quality analyses that include profiling, identifying gaps and correcting data from multiple sources.
Document the data flows and data transformation logic from capture to delivery.
Develop and maintain data governance logs, tools and dashboards.
Advise teams on how to apply data management processes and controls properly.
Apply pragmatic data governance approaches that improve operational activities and implement continuous improvement processes for data quality management.
Carry out projects related to the development of data governance.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in a related field
A minimum of four years of relevant experience
Knowledge of French is required
Intermediate advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
Expertise in data mining and manipulation
Proficiency in a query language such as SQL, SAS or Python for exploratory analysis and profiling tasks
Proficiency in visualization language like Power BI to monitor data quality
Knowledge of a specialized tool in data governance and data cataloging
Action oriented, Customer Focus, Differences, Interpersonal Savvy, Nimble learning, Strategic mindset
