About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the immediate supervisor by assisting with work organization, operational planning, and special initiatives
- Develop, implement, and monitor the unit’s action plan, ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategic priorities and other administrative units within a performance management framework
- Establish management and communication practices that support change management, talent attraction and retention, skills development, employee engagement, and diversity in accordance with Desjardins’ values
- Define and oversee the delivery of the unit’s services and ensure assigned projects are completed to maximize targeted business results and ensure member and client satisfaction
- Support the administrative unit’s action plan by effectively managing individual and team performance
- Continuously improve the processes for which you are responsible
- Promote Desjardins Group’s cooperative values
- Represent the organization and conduct business intelligence activities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in law
- A minimum of ten years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of French is required
- Member of the Barreau du Québec (Quebec Bar)
- Strong oral and written communication skills in both French and English
