About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Solicit and develop and maintain personalized business relationships with existing and potential clients
  • Manage accounts, serving as the link between the Desjardins Business centre and members and clients
  • Ensure that clients have the products and services they need, are using them correctly, and are satisfied with them
  • Analyze sources of dissatisfaction and recommend potential solutions
  • Identify and analyze member/client needs and develop personalized solutions
  • Prepare integrated service offers
  • Negotiate applicable conditions with members and clients
  • Recommend strategies or solutions to reach objectives set by the Desjardins Business centre
  • Monitor the industry to identify business development opportunities
  • Carry out promotional activities for the Desjardins Business centre
  • Maintain a presence in the business community
  • Comply with policies, practices and standards
  • Provide sound and prudent risk management for all portfolios under your responsibility

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • At least four years of relevant experience
  • Strong communication skills in English and French, both written and spoken
  • Knowledge of the latest financial, economic, policy and legislative developments
  • Ability to analyze the business centre’s market and external environment
  • Knowledge of financial analysis practices
  • Knowledge of the characteristics and credit risks inherent to the commercial, industrial and institutional markets
  • Knowledge of loan and guarantee agreements
  • Knowledge of products and services for businesses
  • Knowledge of financing and credit management practices for businesses
  • Networking skills
