About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Solicit and develop and maintain personalized business relationships with existing and potential clients
- Manage accounts, serving as the link between the Desjardins Business centre and members and clients
- Ensure that clients have the products and services they need, are using them correctly, and are satisfied with them
- Analyze sources of dissatisfaction and recommend potential solutions
- Identify and analyze member/client needs and develop personalized solutions
- Prepare integrated service offers
- Negotiate applicable conditions with members and clients
- Recommend strategies or solutions to reach objectives set by the Desjardins Business centre
- Monitor the industry to identify business development opportunities
- Carry out promotional activities for the Desjardins Business centre
- Maintain a presence in the business community
- Comply with policies, practices and standards
- Provide sound and prudent risk management for all portfolios under your responsibility
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- At least four years of relevant experience
- Strong communication skills in English and French, both written and spoken
- Knowledge of the latest financial, economic, policy and legislative developments
- Ability to analyze the business centre’s market and external environment
- Knowledge of financial analysis practices
- Knowledge of the characteristics and credit risks inherent to the commercial, industrial and institutional markets
- Knowledge of loan and guarantee agreements
- Knowledge of products and services for businesses
- Knowledge of financing and credit management practices for businesses
- Networking skills
