Key responsibilities & impact
  • Advise members and clients on optimal financial strategies and collaborate with them to define expected outcomes
  • Manage business relationships, evaluate member/client satisfaction and service quality, follow up and identify areas for improvement
  • Stay current on developments in the financial services industry, market trends and best practices in the field
  • Participate in outreach activities and represent the caisse in the community

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Minimum of one year of relevant experience
  • Mutual Fund Representative certification from the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF)
  • Proficiency in French is required
  • Knowledge of current financial, economic, political and legislative developments
  • Familiarity with products and services offered to caisse members, including those provided by Desjardins Business Centres, Desjardins components and distribution networks, and competitive offerings
  • Debt management skills
  • Basic knowledge of compliance requirements for the distribution of financial products and services
  • Understanding of the philosophy and fundamentals of financial services cooperatives
  • Knowledge of policies, legislation and standards related to products and services offered by the caisse
  • Familiarity with Desjardins business processes
  • Understanding of service standards
  • Techniques for assessing and monitoring individual financing applications
  • Competencies: Action Oriented, Customer Focus, Valuing Differences, Drive for Results, Interpersonal Savvy, Nimble Learning
