About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Contribute to various development activities, studies, analyses, and actuarial calculations related to your unit’s mandates.
- Design or update tools, projection models, databases, systems, and product developments, and ensure their ongoing monitoring.
- Perform analyses.
- Prepare various reports and recommendations.
- Provide advisory support in the implementation of these recommendations.
- Participate in the development and proposal of action plans aimed at addressing identified issues, in accordance with established guidelines and generally accepted standards.
- Develop and document work methods and processes.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science or a related discipline
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience
- Relevant experience in individual insurance (life, disability, critical illness, etc.)
- Advanced proficiency in French, both spoken and written
- Advanced proficiency in English
- Knowledge of the AXIS tool
- Knowledge of actuarial modeling and data analysis
