Key responsibilities & impact

Advise your clients and partners to help them position, plan, develop, execute and monitor strategic projects and initiatives involving financial, regulatory, tax and accounting reporting
Develop and update policies, standards, models and programs to support your unit’s strategic projects and initiatives to balance business needs, requirements and best practices.
Identify, analyze and diagnose major issues, make recommendations to decision-making bodies, and carry out specialized and complex analysis for projects and initiatives that significantly impact the entire organization.
Prepare reports and other specialized documents.
Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure the integrity and accuracy of accounting data and financial statements in accordance with regulations, financial governance rules, and tax and accounting standards
Represent Desjardins’s position when making agreements with external partners and organizations.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in a related field
A minimum of six years of relevant experience
Knowledge of French is required
