About the role

  • Develop and maintain a long-term, trust-based business relationship with members and clients
  • Listen to members’ and clients’ needs
  • Provide advice tailored to their financial situation
  • Support members and clients in selecting appropriate solutions
  • Propose and implement offers related to investments, financing and protection
  • Ensure consistency between member and client satisfaction, business objectives, prudent risk management and profitability
  • Maintain collaborations with various partners and experts to propose integrated strategies

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline
  • Minimum of one year of relevant experience
  • Mutual Fund Representative Certificate – Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF)
  • Proficiency in French required
  • Awareness of current financial, economic, political and legislative developments
  • Knowledge of the full range of products and services offered to caisse members and by Desjardins Business Centres
  • Knowledge of debt management
  • Knowledge of and familiarity with compliance requirements for the distribution of financial products and services
  • Understanding of the philosophy and operations of a financial services cooperative
  • Knowledge of policies, legislation and standards related to the products and services offered by the Caisse
  • Knowledge of Desjardins business processes and service standards
  • Knowledge of techniques for assessing and monitoring personal financing requests
  • Availability to work Monday to Friday, including one evening per week until 8:00 PM
