About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Diagnose learning issues, challenges, and business needs to define clear learning objectives and outcomes.
Conduct training needs analyses, create comprehensive training plans, and coordinate with instructional designer and multimedia designer on the development of engaging learning materials.
Coordinate and manage instructional design projects from concept through delivery and post implementation ensuring quality and governance requirements are met.
Coordinate planned and unplanned maintenance and updates of existing courses based on learner feedback, performance insights, and business changes.
Create learning solutions that modernize content, close training gaps, and simplify information so learners can easily engage with and apply it.
Deliver impactful learning experiences by building training plans aligned to the 80/20 principle, developing content if required, and leading training pilot and follow‑up sessions.
Ensure content sustainability by capturing SME feedback, monitoring participation, and evaluating the relevance and shelf‑life of training materials.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in a related field
A minimum of four years of relevant experience in instructional design, learning and development, or a comparable role
Advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
Advanced knowledge of instructional design and adult learning practices
Advanced intermediate knowledge of the Desjardins Agent Network
Intermediate knowledge of Agile methodology and/or project management
