About the role
- Diagnose learning issues, challenges, and business needs to define clear learning objectives and outcomes.
- Conduct training needs analyses, create comprehensive training plans, and coordinate with instructional designer and multimedia designer on the development of engaging learning materials.
- Coordinate and manage instructional design projects from concept through delivery and post implementation ensuring quality and governance requirements are met.
- Coordinate planned and unplanned maintenance and updates of existing courses based on learner feedback, performance insights, and business changes.
- Create learning solutions that modernize content, close training gaps, and simplify information so learners can easily engage with and apply it.
- Deliver impactful learning experiences by building training plans aligned to the 80/20 principle, developing content if required, and leading training pilot and follow‑up sessions.
- Ensure content sustainability by capturing SME feedback, monitoring participation, and evaluating the relevance and shelf‑life of training materials.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- A minimum of four years of relevant experience in instructional design, learning and development, or a comparable role
- Advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
- Advanced knowledge of instructional design and adult learning practices
- Advanced intermediate knowledge of the Desjardins Agent Network
- Intermediate knowledge of Agile methodology and/or project management
