About the role
- Serve as the senior compliance officer for the distribution of savings and investment products
- Prepare reports and present them to the relevant bodies
- Liaise with relevant Desjardins components
- Manage activities related to operational risk, including risk and control self-assessment
- Monitor the internal control system
- Ensure that supervisory controls are completed and be responsible for execution quality
- Help managers identify and implement corrective measures
- Ensure that activities related to money laundering and terrorist financing legislation (PCMLTFA) are carried out
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience
- Mutual fund representative certificate – Autorité des marchés financiers
- CDS course intended for branch managers
- Knowledge of French is required
