About the role

  • Serve as the senior compliance officer for the distribution of savings and investment products
  • Prepare reports and present them to the relevant bodies
  • Liaise with relevant Desjardins components
  • Manage activities related to operational risk, including risk and control self-assessment
  • Monitor the internal control system
  • Ensure that supervisory controls are completed and be responsible for execution quality
  • Help managers identify and implement corrective measures
  • Ensure that activities related to money laundering and terrorist financing legislation (PCMLTFA) are carried out

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience
  • Mutual fund representative certificate – Autorité des marchés financiers
  • CDS course intended for branch managers
  • Knowledge of French is required
