About the role
- Work closely with the investment fund development operations leader.
- Prepare regulatory documents, carry out activities related to the taxation of investment funds and actively help implement and maintain processes.
- Work on fund launch or fund change projects.
- Prepare fund fact sheets and help with prospectus renewals.
- Be responsible for investment fund information on the organization's websites and in external databases.
- Coordinate the production of monthly data sheets and agreements with external data and index providers.
- Assist with tax returns for India and Taiwan and other tax forms, as well as with opening and renewing accounts in varying countries.
- Be responsible for the accuracy of investment fund data in databases of external providers.
- Handle requests on key performance indicators (for example, sales, redemptions).
- Coordinate the preparation of content for annual and interim management reports, the publication of distribution estimates, and the monthly, quarterly and annual distributions.
- Be called on to conduct market intelligence activities based on the sector's needs and priorities.
Requirements
- Bachelor of business administration, finance or a related field
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience in finance or investment
- Experience drafting reports and giving presentations in a concise and convincing way
- Knowledge of French is required
- Intermediate advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of the mutual fund or ETF industry and regulations
