About the role

  • Initiate, develop and maintain personalized business relationships with current and prospective clients to promote and sell Desjardins’ products and services.
  • Serve as an account manager and act as the primary liaison between the business centre and members and clients.
  • Ensure correct use, timely updating and overall satisfaction with the products and services offered.
  • Analyze sources of dissatisfaction and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Identify and analyze member and client needs, develop tailored solutions and prepare an integrated service offering.
  • Negotiate applicable terms and conditions with members and clients.
  • Recommend strategies and solutions to help the business centre achieve objectives such as increased business volume, sound risk management, portfolio profitability and stronger client relationships.
  • Use market intelligence to identify business development opportunities that enhance the competitiveness of the products and services offered.
  • Carry out various promotional activities as part of the centre’s business operations.
  • Take part in targeted public relations activities and actively participate in the business community.
  • Listen to client and member needs to ensure full satisfaction, capture business opportunities and, when appropriate, refer them to the right specialist to meet their needs.
  • Comply with all policies, procedures and standards in effect, as well as applicable laws governing the distribution of financial products and services.
  • Provide prudent risk management for all portfolios under your responsibility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Minimum of two years’ relevant experience
  • Proficiency in French is required
