Maintain and evolve pricing of commercial lines insurance products in property and liability in Canada and automobile insurance in Quebec to ensure profitable growth
Conduct in-depth analyses and diagnostics; recommend innovative solutions in pricing, segmentation, business solutions, and strategic projects
Work closely with marketing, claims, underwriting, sales, and commercial departments to understand and implement solutions
Advise clients and partners to help position, plan, develop, execute, and control strategic projects and initiatives
Develop and update policies, standards, models, and programs to support unit projects and strategic initiatives
Identify, analyze, and diagnose major issues and make recommendations to governance
Act as recognized specialist, reference source, and coach for colleagues and peers
Represent team to decision-making bodies and represent Desjardins when concluding agreements with external partners and organizations
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics or a related field
Minimum of six years of relevant experience in property and casualty insurance (other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered)
Successful completion of at least six CAS exams or equivalent
Advanced proficiency in French or English, both oral and written
Advanced proficiency in SAS, VBA, R, Radar, and Emblem
