About the role
- Act as a content expert by coordinating the creation and production of short and long-form content (panel discussions, executive speeches, long-format conferences) for speaking engagements within partnerships, sponsorships, and industry events.
- Ensure consistency between messages that are part of the strategy and convey them through various opportunities.
- Brief, guide, and support external writers and agencies; ensure the quality and relevance of deliverables.
- Prepare and support presenters/panelists (Q&A, coaching, rehearsals, adjustments).
- Leverage visibility opportunities that come with sponsorships in collaboration with the Donations and Sponsorship Advisor and maximize exposure.
- Ensure validations (legal, compliance, branding, etc.) with stakeholders and adherence to sound business practices.
- Actively participate in squad meetings.
- Analyze and monitor market trends.
- Stay alert to new high-visibility events for the business line that can showcase our content and demonstrate our expertise.
- Act as a resource person and coach for both colleagues and partners.
- Measure event performance and share outcomes (post-mortem, recommendations, measurement tools).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, advertising, journalism, marketing, or a related field
- A minimum of six years of relevant experience
- Experience in content production related to sponsorships, major events, and 360 campaigns
- Experience collaborating with advertising agencies on large-scale campaigns and events
- Experience working in multidisciplinary teams
- Expert-level proficiency in written and spoken French
- Advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
- Knowledge of the financial sector, particularly Group Insurance and/or Group Retirement Savings
