About the role
- Provide the data needed to make business decisions
- Develop solutions and services adapted to business issues
- Understand member and client behaviour
- Lead internal and external stakeholders in model development projects adapted to business needs
- Handle complex strategic interventions in advanced analytics and artificial intelligence
- Solve highly operationally and conceptually complex business problems
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in data science, statistics, computer science, mathematics or a related field
- A minimum of six years of relevant experience
- Academic specialization beyond the bachelor's degree
- Relevant experience in statistical modelling, applied data science or machine learning
- Financial crime certification (CAMS, CFCS)
- Knowledge of French is required
- Intermediate knowledge of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
- Proficiency of Python, SQL, SAS and visualization tools (such as Power BI)
- Proficiency in using plain language techniques to communicate information
- Knowledge of financial crime (FINTRAC regulations, FATF) and certain tools (such as Actimize, Fircosoft, CP4D)
