About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and optimize security measures aligned with corporate objectives
- Plan, implement and oversee security best practices to strengthen Desjardins's security posture
- Develop priorities and governance for the Desjardins Group Security Office
- Lead large-scale development projects, initiatives and activities in security
- Identify, develop and recommend security strategic directions
- Advise clients and partners on strategic projects and initiatives
- Identify, analyze, report and diagnose major issues and recommend solutions
- Develop and update policies, standards, models and programs
- Offer security programs to internal employees to promote ethics and compliance
- Represent the unit before senior management committees and decision-making bodies
- Represent and negotiate on behalf of Desjardins and enter into agreements with external partners and organizations
- Serve as expert advisor, subject matter expert, resource person and coach for senior management and decision-making bodies
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- A minimum of eight years of relevant experience
- Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
- Knowledge of French is required
- Interpersonal Savvy
- Strategic mindset
