About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and optimize security measures aligned with corporate objectives
Plan, implement and oversee security best practices to strengthen Desjardins's security posture
Develop priorities and governance for the Desjardins Group Security Office
Lead large-scale development projects, initiatives and activities in security
Identify, develop and recommend security strategic directions
Advise clients and partners on strategic projects and initiatives
Identify, analyze, report and diagnose major issues and recommend solutions
Develop and update policies, standards, models and programs
Offer security programs to internal employees to promote ethics and compliance
Represent the unit before senior management committees and decision-making bodies
Represent and negotiate on behalf of Desjardins and enter into agreements with external partners and organizations
Serve as expert advisor, subject matter expert, resource person and coach for senior management and decision-making bodies

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in a related field
A minimum of eight years of relevant experience
Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
Knowledge of French is required
Interpersonal Savvy
