About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and optimize security measures aligned with corporate objectives
Plan, implement and oversee security best practices to strengthen Desjardins's security posture
Help develop the Desjardins Group Security Office's priorities and governance
Lead practitioners on development projects and innovative, complex strategic security initiatives
Lead large-scale development projects, initiatives and activities in the specialty area
Design, update, implement and monitor complex action plans, programs, solutions and tools
Advise clients and partners on strategic projects and initiatives
Identify, analyze, report and diagnose major issues and recommend solutions to decision-making bodies
Develop and update policies, standards, models and programs
Represent the unit to decision-making bodies for agreements with external partners and organizations
Serve as a specialist advisor, subject matter expert, resource person and coach for decision-making bodies

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in a related field
A minimum of six years of relevant experience
Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
Knowledge of French is required
Action oriented
