About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and optimize security measures aligned with corporate objectives
  • Plan, implement and oversee best practices to strengthen Desjardins's security posture
  • Help develop the Desjardins Group Security Office's priorities and governance
  • Lead practitioners on development projects and innovative, complex strategic security-related initiatives
  • Lead large-scale development projects, initiatives and activities in the specialty area
  • Design, update, implement and monitor complex action plans, programs, solutions and tools
  • Advise clients and partners on strategic projects and initiatives
  • Identify, analyze, report and diagnose major issues and recommend solutions to decision-making bodies
  • Develop and update policies, standards, models and programs
  • Represent the unit to decision-making bodies for agreements with external partners and organizations
  • Serve as a specialist advisor, subject matter expert, resource person and coach for decision-making bodies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of six years of relevant experience
  • Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Knowledge of French is required
